What sets InGallery apart from the other suppliers?
We exclusively supply photographers and artists. Nearly all other companies supply to the public as well even if they have a ‘trade website’. We only produce canvases and are fully focused on all stages of production and advancements in technology. We print at a high resolution using the top of the range Epson large format printer. Only top quality materials are used including; OBA free canvas, museum grade varnish and laminated pine stretcher bars. Our product can be described as a ‘fine art canvas’.
Can you fulfil urgent orders?
Yes, but we ask that this is only requested if absolutely necessary. We will advise on what steps may have to be taken e.g. less curing time.

Turnaround time
What is your turnaround time?
All orders are despatched within 7 working days but please note that during peak times they may take slightly longer.
Why do the canvases take up to 7 working days?
All canvases are printed using high quality printing techniques. Printer, canvas, ink and coating manufacturers specify a minimum time for the ink and coating to cure. Beware of companies who offer very fast turnarounds. It is not possible to produce a ‘Museum Grade Canvas’ quickly.

What are the varnish options?
We offer Matte, Satin and Gloss Museum Grade varnish. The matte varnish is by far the most popluar choice amongst our customers and boasts a true matte finsish and you see no visible signs of varnish but the print is protected. Satin adds a slight glossy sheen to the canvas and works well with black and white images. Gloss is very glossy and is quite reflective so should only be chosen if you require a very vibrant canvas and something ‘a bit different’.
Can I clean the canvas if necessary?
You are able to wipe the canvas with a slightly damp cloth to clean any marks, should they get onto the canvas.
Do you offer custom sizes?
We do have a wide range of stretcher bar sizes to choose from. However, if a custom size is essential we can get bars cut to suit. This is considerably more expensive for us, so please contact us for a price before placing your order.
How do I hang the canvas?
The canvas is fitted with a custom hanger (or two if it is over 30 inches). There is a serrated edge to make levelling easy. All you require are standard 3 pin picture hooks to go in the wall.
Images / files
What file type and resolution should my image be?
Please send Adobe RGB 1998 or sRGB highest quality JPEG files at 300dpi. If you would like us to upscale images, we can do. We use Perfect Resize software to achieve this. Please ensure your image is correctly proportioned.
What colour management do you offer?
We use an ICC profile provided by the canvas manufacturer specifically for the printer/canvas/ink combination that we use. If you are using a calibrated monitor then the results you will get back will be a very good match. Please remember that a monitor and a matte canvas have different light sources and we can’t guarantee a perfect match with the image you see on your monitor. Due to the different characteristics of canvas and paper it is also not possible to provide a perfect match with a photographic print, especially one which has been produced using a different printer/ inkset combination. However, we do have numerous customers who comment very favourably on our colour reproduction.
How do I size my image?
If you require an image wrap, you need to allow 2” extra on each edge for a deep frame and 1.25” for a narrow. For example, for a 20×16” deep frame image wrap, the image would need to measure 24×20” ensuring no vital detail within 2” of each edge. If you require white, black or coloured sides then send your image at exact frame size but please stae in the order comments box ‘white sides/black sides/sample colour from sky for sides’ etc.
